According to a new report from TMZ.com, the men allegedly responsible for the shooting death of rapper/producer, XXXTentacion, both have long histories of crime and violence.

Reportedly, the 22-year-old involved with X’s death, Robert Allen, has a criminal record spanning three years to 2015, when the police hit him with three charges after pulling him over for riding without a seat belt.

TMZ reports that authorities arrested Allen for dealing large amounts of cocaine, carrying a hidden gun, as well as stealing a firearm.

And later in the same year, the police issued two warrants for his arrest because he supposedly carried PVP – a synthetically produced party drug – and carrying a gun when he didn’t have a license. Registration or not, he wasn’t allowed to carry a weapon because of his criminal record.

The police charged him again with two serious crimes. The following year, in 2016, authorities charged the young man with 22 felonies, all related to credit card scams and identification cards.

Dedrick D. Williams, the man currently sitting in police custody for the death of the 20-year-old rapper, has a large criminal record as well, including a number of drugs, gun, and domestic violence charges. Like XXXTentacion, Williams supposedly got involved in a physical altercation with a romantic partner.

Regarding Allen, TMZ claims the police want to speak with him for the death of XXXTentacion after he was shot to death while shopping for motorcycles.

At the time of his tragic passing, the rapper was awaiting a trial for allegedly assaulting his pregnant girlfriend. Currently, no publication knows precisely why Allen is a person of interest.

Nevertheless, the death of XXX has been a very sad loss for not only the hip-hop community but also the black and music community. XXXTentacion, to the consideration of many individuals, was a rising star in the scene.
