5 Things That Must Be in Your Wallet

Akashya Shukla

1. Cash

Yes, cash takes up most of the wallet. this is true.

Keeping cash in your wallet will help keep spending under control, as your money is reduced, as is your food budget (and we all love to eat). And this fact should prevent to make impulse purchases. Therefore, at the beginning of the month, divide all the money into categories (food, clothing, entertainment, etc). And instead of letting your money float in your wallet unorganized, keep your money in an envelope system (about which we will soon publish an article). You can use a special insert for the wallet to take into account how much you spent in each category for the month, sorting checks into sections of the insert.

2. Driving license

You need your driver's license to drive a car, buy certain medications without a prescription, take a loan, etc. Regardless of how you use it, this identifier is issued by the state, so do not forget about it!

3. Debit card

Debit cards are very convenient when it comes to booking a hotel, tickets or shopping online.

Limit the use of your debit card to budget categories that you normally don’t spend cash on. Because using cash for everything else can save you money.

4. Insurance cards

Emergencies and traffic accidents do not warn us in advance. They just happen. So, don't forget to carry your health insurance card with you!

While most of us store auto insurance in a car (this is normal), it is wise to keep your prescriptions for medicine and medical insurance in a convenient place, such as your wallet. I hope you don’t need them, but at least you’ll know where they are when they are needed.

5. Subscriptions

Keep important things, such as a gym membership or a theater subscription in your wallet, so as not to miss an exercise because of forgetfulness.
