SCHENECTADY — At least a couple hundred protestors gathered outside the city police headquarters on Liberty Street Sunday afternoon as part of the continued call for justice in the wake of the police killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis.
Protestors kneeled with one arm and fist raised, and promised to do so peacefully - in contrary to the riots that hit Albany and so many others cities nationwide Saturday night.
A rally in the City of Renssleaer is also planned for Sunday afternoon. Organizers asked people to socially distance - as the protests are also happening at the same time of the coronavirus pandemic.
