Week 13 Saturday college football TV schedule and open thread

Alligator Army

Here’s what to watch now that the Gators have played.

Rivalry weekend - and the regular 2018 college football season - wraps up today. Several big games already took place this afternoon, including the Florida Gators thumping the Florida State Seminoles in their regular season finale.

While you’re soaking up the rest of today’s rivalries, feel free to hang out in this thread while watching any of those games.

Here are our picks for today’s viewing windows:

Afternoon (3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Eastern)

Auburn at Alabama (3:30 p.m., CBS): The primary viewing option in the afternoon slot is this year’s edition of the Iron Bowl. The No. 1 Crimson Tide should have an easy time taming the Tigers but maybe Auburn can keep it interesting?

Tennessee at Vanderbilt (4:00 p.m., SECN): There aren’t a lot of contests which should be particularly competitive in this block. In the SEC, you could decide to watch the Volunteers and Commodores, I guess. Winner gets bowl eligibility and loser gets to be last place in the SEC East.

In other games: At noon, there is also Maryland at No. 12 Penn State (ABC), No. 24 Pittsburgh at Miami (ESPN), and Arizona at Arizona State (FS1).

Evening (7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Eastern)

South Carolina at Clemson (7:00 p.m., ESPN): The No. 2 Tigers host the rival Gamecocks at home in their regular season finale, hoping to stay undefeated on their way to the playoff.

LSU at Texas A&M (7:30 p.m., SECN): The No. 7 Tigers visit the No. 22 Aggies at Kyle Field. Texas A&M has never beaten LSU since joining the SEC. Is this the year they finally get the monkey off their back?

Notre Dame at USC (8:00 p.m., ABC): The No. 3 Irish of course do not have a conference championship game. If Notre Dame takes care of business against the struggling Trojans, the Irish should be guaranteed a spot in the College Football Playoff.

In other games: Also at 7:00 p.m., you could watch No. 15 Kentucky try to get their first nine-win season since 1984 when they visit a terrible Louisville team (ESPN2). For the late shift, there’s also No. 21 Utah State at No. 23 Boise State (10:00 p.m., ESPN).

And here is your schedule table for today’s games.
