Pit bulls get a bad rap for being aggressive animals, but anyone who’s ever owned one knows they’re capable of being just as sweet as any other breed. Sadly, this negative stereotype seems to follow them everywhere.
Anyone who’s ever given a pit bull a chance knows they love to snuggle just like humans do. This is further evidenced by one particular family’s adorable pup named Tank.

Unfortunately, pit bulls can’t seem to catch a break with some people. More often than not, they’re presented as an aggressive bully breed that’s unfit to live in anyone’s home. Sadly, this rumor is perpetuated all the time, even though it’s largely untrue.
As many people who have spent even a short period of time around a pit bull know, these dogs are just as capable of being kind and gentle with people as any other dog breed. You just have to be willing to give them as chance!
This mom recently made the decision to ignore those preconceived notions about pit bulls and adopted one to live at home with her family. It’s been smooth sailing! But just wait until you see this pit bull’s favorite place to snuggle…
After introducing her new pit bull, Tank, to her husband and children, one woman knew she’d made an awesome decision. Not only did Tank prove all of the rumors about the breed wrong, but he loved her family, too!
In fact, Tank was just like all other dogs. He liked to spend his time playing in the yard, chasing after squirrels, and most importantly, spending time with his adoptive family members. Luckily for him, they didn’t mind it either…
But that wasn’t all. Tank loved to play so much that he’d tire himself out and had to take a nap. And as anyone with a pet knows, dogs just love to have “their spot” in the home where they can nap. Can you guess where Tank’s favorite napping place was?
If you guess he liked to cuddle with his humans, then you’re correct! There was really nothing cozier to him than to snuggle up on the couch and relax. He even hoped that you’d give him a pet or two or maybe even a head rub.
Any chance he got, Tank would drop whatever it was that he was doing in order to cuddle up with his family. They often spent entire afternoons just lounging around their home, spending time with one another.
During snuggle time, Tank’s humans would often take turns giving him kisses on the head. And when they least expected it, he tried to give them kisses, too! Just look at them go. They were really enjoying their time with each other…
