Going to the hospital can be an ordeal, in and of itself, especially if you have other people who rely on you for help. But when those who are counting on you are dogs?
The entire affair can be heart breaking, as no one knows how they’re going to be cared for.
That was the concern of this veteran who was going to the hospital for treatment, and didn’t know what was going to happen to his two dogs.
He suffered from a heart attack and had to have his dogs turned over to the shelter while he remained in care after surgery.
He thought that would be the end of his tale with his two favorite canines.
Thankfully, his dogs hadn’t been adopted yet when he recovered, and he went to pay them a visit.
Unfortunately, he had some problems coming up with the money for the adoption fees so that he could have his dogs returned to him, but what happened next was nothing short of a miracle.
Surprisingly, the fees had already been paid for by a volunteer, and some of the staff members at the shelter even donated a few toys for the dogs, and a gift card for gas and food for the veteran to enjoy.
The man was brought to tears, believing that he was going to be going home to an empty house, but now he can spend his days of recovery with his beloved pooches who probably missed him terribly.
