Jamaal Charles youth football camp coming back to Port Arthur

NFL running back Jamaal Charles will be back in Port Arthur this month for his annual youth football camp at Memorial High School.

The free camp will be held on Saturday, June 16 and will be open to youth players ages 8-18. Registration starts at 8 a.m., followed by the camp from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Along with Charles, appearances will be made by New England Patriots linebacker Elandon Roberts, motivational speaker Damian West and first-year Memorial football coach Brian Morgan.

Can’t wait for my Port Arthur camp on Saturday, June 16! We’re changing it up this year to focus more on speed and agility! Still free for all kids, but space is limited so get there early! Hope to see you there!

Charles is a 10-year NFL veteran and a native of Port Arthur. Currently a free agent, he played in 14 games for the Denver Broncos last season.
