Tom Broussard is named 2015 Person of the Year by Quota International of Southeast Texas.
Tom Broussard, a well-known member of the Southeast Texas community and Co-CEO of Broussard's Mortuary, died Monday morning, according to information from the family.
Broussard, 57, had been battling brain cancer.
A graduate of Forrest Park High School and Lamar University, Broussard was a fourth generation funeral director with the funeral home, where he served for more than three decades.
