LSU's Ed Orgeron wins Bear Bryant Coach of the Year Award

LSU coach Ed Orgeron picked up another win on Wednesday: the Bear Bryant Coach of the Year award.

Orgeron, who coached the Tigers to the national title on Monday with a win over Clemson, was recognized at the Post Oak Hotel in a ceremony Wednesday night.

The other finalists were: Matt Rhule (Baylor), Dabo Sweeney (Clemson), Sonny Dykes (SMU), P.J. Fleck (Minnesota), James Franklin (Penn State), Ken Niumatalolo (Navy), Mike Norvell (Memphis) and Kyle Whittingham (Utah).
