A 20-year-old Orange County fireman was transported to a local hospital after being struck by another vehicle in a head-on collision, according to information from the Orange County Fire Department.
Around 8 p.m. Saturday night officials responded to a call in reference to a multi-vehicle crash just north of Little Cyprus High School.
Initial reports indicate that the fire truck and other vehicle were traveling in opposite directions when the vehicle crossed the middle lane and struck the fire truck head-on, officials said.
The fireman was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries and is expected to make a full recovery.
