Texas college football teams that do and do not serve alcohol at their stadiums

Beginning this football season, Texas Christian University football fans can cheer on the Horned Frogs with an ice-cold beer in-hand.

TCU athletic director Jeremiah Donati announced on Twitter Tuesday that the school, like several others around the Lone Star State, will sell beer in its stadium this fall.

TCU will offer approximately eight beer selections, all Miller Coors brands for $7 each, available for purchase at all concession stands from the time gates open two hours before kickoff until the start of the fourth quarter, the Star Telegram reported.

The move comes more than two months after the SEC voted to lift its ban on the sale of alcoholic beverages in areas outside of premium seating.

Following that vote, Texas A&M announced it would sell beer and wine at football games in June 2013.
