Three game balls for Texans-Jets

Beaumont Enterprise

Three game balls from the Texans' win over the Jets on Saturday:

DeAndre Hopkins, wide receiver

What a performance by Hopkins. In the first half alone, he had five catches for 108 yards and a touchdown. That gave him 10 touchdowns for the season. Since the start of last season, he has at least one touchdown reception in 19 games, more than any player in the NFL. He had his fourth 100-yard game this season by halftime. Hopkins finished with 10 receptions for 170 yards and two touchdowns.

Deshaun Watson, quarterback

Despite being sacked six more times, giving him 52 for the season, and being knocked down an additional 10 times, Watson ignited the game-winning touchdown drive. The Texans were behind 22-19 with five minutes remaining. Watson took them 75 yards in seven plays, including completions of 20 yards to Hopkins and 20 to Demaryius Thomas. Watson threw the game-winning touchdown pass of 14 yards to Hopkins.

J.J. Watt, defensive end
