Shed a small tear for the midway point of the season
Every year it seems as if each NFL season goes by quicker than the last.
It’s already Week 8 in the 2018 season. 107 games have been played in the NFL. Thousands up thousands of snaps have been counted, analyzed, scrutinized, and praised.
Fortunately, there are thousands left to play.
Let’s recap and preview this week’s action:
Pretty damn good: The staff went 5-2 in last week’s unanimous picks and are now 16-5 on the season when selecting the same team.
Sounds about right: The two teams that were picked to win by a 5-4 margin in Week 7 - the Bucs and Dolphins - went 1-1.
Week 8 lone wolves: Dustin Lewis takes the Jets over the Bears whileGil Arcia is running with the New York Giants over Washington.
Week 8 unanimous picks: The Chiefs, Steelers, Colts, and Patriots are this week’s unanimous selections.
Week 8 toss-ups: The 49ers vs. Cardinals and Ravens at Panthers are the closest-matched games.
