Aries (March 21 - April 19)
If you've ever broken a bone, you know there's a sickening snap and then a whole lot of pain. Well, the Aries breakup is a lot like that. They'll be very direct and it will be very fast. Chances are they got bored with you or found someone new, and they're done.
When Aries is done, it's hard for them to work up any interest in trying to fix a problem or try to rekindle that spark. It will be the definite no-going-back attitude he has that will hurt you the most.
Taurus (April 20 - May 20)
The most important person in the Taurus life is themselves; him putting himself ahead of you will slowly chip away at your relationship. You'll probably break up with him and you'll both regret it. The thing that's going to hurt you is that he's so stubborn that he will refuse to fight for your relationship and will just let it go.
Gemini (May 21 - June 20)
As fast and efficient as the Aries breakup is, the Gemini breakup is the exact opposite. He'll go back and forth trying to figure out if the relationship is what he wants, but don't think that once he's broken up with you that he's gone from your life. No, he's going to be constantly texting and messaging you, wanting to discuss getting back together and other options.
The Gemini is going to draw out your heartbreak so you'll feel as if the pain is never ending for you. His pain will seem to have never existed as he'll be sharing all the fun times he's having with his many friends on social media and looking like he's having the time of his life.
Cancer (June 21 - July 22)
When a relationship ends with a Cancer, the real heartbreak is going to come from seeing what a mess he is and how you will want to be there for him, but know that it's probably not a good idea to be his shoulder to cry on. It hurts even worse knowing you've destroyed someone that you loved. Cancer men have no problem showing their emotions, and seeing them in such anguish will wreck your heart.
Leo (July 23 - August 22)
Leos love the spotlight, so your Leo will end things in public; having strangers witness it will triple the amount of pain you feel. Since Leos have so many admirers, he'll have a new relationship before you know it and you're going to go over every aspect of your relationship with them wondering what you did wrong.
Answer? You did nothing wrong but even knowing that isn't going to lessen your pain. Unfortunately, you probably have mutual friends so you'll get a lot of "What happened?" and "I'm so sorry." Once he finds someone new, you'll get to hear how great Leo's new love is and that will feel like you're being stabbed in the heart with flaming hot kabob-skewers.
Virgo (August 23 - September 22)
Virgo probably won't even notice he's hurting you; he'll probably think that he's just helping you with his constant criticism and helpful suggestions. He'll get more into a research project or his work, and gradually pay less and less attention to you. You'll have to leave for your own self-respect.
Libra (September 23 - October 22)
Hurting you is the last thing that a Libra man wants; however, it's challenging for them to stay with one person if they don't think they're getting the attention that they deserve.
He will go back and forth deciding if he should go or if he should stay, and he'll keep you updated on every turn he takes until you get so frustrated you demand he makes up his mind. That's not going to go over well. The good news is, once you get over the hurt Libras make the best exes.
Scorpio (October 23 - November 21)
Scorpios love intensely and they show their anger intensely. You don't want to get into a fight with a Scorpio because they get mean and, in that moment, their intention is to hurt you badly — and they'll succeed.
The Scorpio will say hateful and hurtful things that you know they feel because Scorpios don't lie. They'll keep going and going, and even when you're no longer speaking, the pain of your breakup will continue to burn and destroy any good feelings you once had.
Sagittarius (November 22 - December 21)
If you're having problems in your relationship with a Sagittarius, you may still be caught unaware when someday you come home and find that they're gone. There won't be any explanation or justification on their part, and it's the not knowing that will be devastating.
Sagittarius need to go somewhere new all the time anyway, but they really need to get on the road if there's conflict or negative feelings brewing. They'll rationalize by thinking it's just the way they're wired.
Capricorn (December 22 - January 19)
With a Capricorn, the problem will definitely be them not you, because chances are they never got over their ex. You can't compete with a ghost (especially one that's still alive) and it will be both frustrating and painful to know that you just didn't measure up to the standards that the ex unintentionally set.
Aquarius (January 20 - February 18)
Since Aquarius men can be extremely unemotional and cold, the feelings of the relationship ending are going to fall on you to feel. It's pointless to tell him how you feel because he doesn't want to hear or deal with it. There's no chance of reconciliation because, in Aquarius' mind, there's nothing to fix.
Pisces (February 19 - March 20)
Pisces will feel awful that he hurt you, but that's not going to make you feel any better. Relationships take work and Pisces has better things to do with his time. His seeming indifference will make you feel even worse.
