A father has one less child as a result of a petty argument blown entirely out of proportion on the mother's end. A toddler is dead while another has been left severely injured following a heartless mother's decision to take revenge on the children’s father by hurting them. This came as a result of her accusing the children's father of cheating. The couple had gotten into a fight via text messages and when the children’s father didn’t come home after work, the woman lost it and proceeded to send him a slew of videos of her suffocating their children. While the woman tried to kill both of her children, one managed to survive before the mother finally called 911.
Can you imagine what the father had to go through when receiving these videos? Is this the first you're hearing of this truly heartbreaking story? What do you think should happen to the mother? What are your thoughts on this? Share them with us in the comments below!
Confession. 21-year-old Christian Clark has been arrested after she confessed to killing her toddler-aged son and attempting to suffocate her daughter. Her atrocious actions were her attempt at trying to punish the father of the children, Andre Jr. Price, after she accused him of cheating on her. As terrible as cheating can be, there is absolutely, positively no excuse for this woman's disgusting behavior. Her daughter must now grow up without her brother; her partner must now mourn the loss of his son.
Argument. It all started one evening after the couple got into an argument over Price not coming home directly after work. Clark accused him of going to another woman’s house despite his persistent denial that he wasn’t going to see another woman. What happened next sounds like the plot of a sick, twisted horror movie, but sadly is real life. Her jealousy drove her to hurt the ones mother's tend to hold the most dear, out of spite: her own children.
Messages. This argument resulted in Clark sending Price a slew of disturbing text messages in which she described how she was going to kill his children if he did not come home right away. When Price didn’t respond to her messages, she sent him a video of both children, ages 17 months and two years, both face down on an air mattress.
Texts. "Ya kids ain't safe here I don't want them here” and "Answer me or im going to jail for child endangerment,” were amongst some of the horrendous messages Clark sent to Price. Clark however, seemed to be disinterested in her threats and responded only once or twice for every five or six messages Clark would send him.
Murder. Clark continued sending Price another video and even sent him another chilling text that read “I’m killing them,” followed by a laughing emoji. Not long after that, she suffocated the 17-month-old to death. When Clark sent Price a video of the unresponsive boy, he texted back “Try to wake him up I said hold him."
Suffocate. Throughout the messages, Clark also told Price that she tried to suffocate the two-year-old, but she managed to fight for her life. “Ah, look Angel is still alive and sweating. Your son on the hand is not even breathing,” she wrote.
Jail. Finally after a couple of hours of the back and forth, Clark began to come around telling Price she hoped “it was worth it” (in reference to the alleged woman Clark thought he was seeing) and “I’m going to jail either way. Im sure it'll hurt me once im sitting in jail & you got all the evidence you need to I can't even say he suffocated in his sleep or say idk what happened,” reports NBC 10.
Help. When Clark told Price she was dialing 911, he responded with “You need to if he dead.” She then replied and said “I am, Sorry I did this. I didn’t mean to.” Initially, Clark told emergency responders who arrived at the scene that she’d discovered her son was unresponsive and dialed police right away.
Investigation. However after further investigation, police discovered the text messages and videos Clark had sent Price that showed her abusing the children and confessing to the crime. Eventually, she came clean and was arrested.
Charges. Initially, Price wasn’t going to be charged with any crimes, but investigators are now charging him with child endangerment because he didn’t do anything to make sure his children were safe once Clark started threatening the children. He was charged with two counts, one for each child.
Abuse. Police also discovered that Price had previously posted of his children being abused by what looked like Clark on his Facebook profile with the caption "These two pictures she is choking them because was (sic) ain’t together ….” reports WTAE.
Choking. "Price stated that Clark was choking the children because he and Clark were not together,” police explained. According to NBC 10, the couple had been living together for some time.
Condition. It’s unclear as to what the condition of the two-year-old child is, or where she is currently living. Clark and Price however, remain in custody. We wish nothing but the best for the child, and hope she recovers fully and swiftly from her injuries.
Texts. "It just goes to show how texts have become such a routine part of our lives that people don't even realize the nature of what they're communicating,” said police Superintended Coleman McDonough, as reported by NBC 10. We completely agree. Something about technology and communication erases the tone and urgency of some messages.
