The No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide and the No. 4 Oklahoma Sooners will go to war later this month, when they meet in the Orange Bowl. With an opportunity to play for the national championship on the line, it should be a terrific game.

Of course, the status of Tua Tagovailoa will be worth monitoring for this semifinal. If he is healthy enough to play, then he’ll have to keep pace with dual-threat quarterback Kyler Murray.

Although this showdown is still several weeks away, the kickoff time and channel for the game was announced.

Alabama-Oklahoma will kick off at 7 p.m. CT on ESPN on Dec. 29.

Both teams are very familiar to the College Football Playoff, but have yet to play each other in this format. It’s safe to say that Nick Saban and Lincoln Riley will have their hands full for this matchup.

Oklahoma and Alabama will kick off at 8:00 p.m. ET from Hard Rock Stadium.

The game will be available on ESPN.
