Dez Bryant has a new home. After reports revealed Bryant was visiting the New Orleans Saints earlier this week, many thought the move would be a good fit for both teams.
New Orleans lost speedster Ted Ginn Jr. this season due to injury and though rookie Tre’Quan Smith has played well this season, adding a competent third receiver could pay dividends for the Saints.
Bryant, released by the Dallas Cowboys ahead of the 2018 season, has remained active on social media teasing fans with cryptic tweets about potential landing spots. New Orleans also reportedly worked out Brandon Marshall and Kamar Aiken, but it appears the Saints have found their man.
NFL insider Tom Pelissero revealed Bryant and the Saints are close to a deal.
Dez Bryant left New Orleans without a contract, but the #Saints liked what they saw and the sides are in negotiations on a deal, sources tell me, @SlaterNFL and @RapSheet. He’s been close before, so nothing’s done until it’s done, but all signs pointing that way.

Bryant most-recently played for the Cowboys, though he was released this spring. With Cameron Meredith struggling to make an impact, Bryant provides a proven redzone threat for the Saints.
Along with star wideout Michael Thomas and running backs Alvin Kamara and Mark Ingram, Bryant adds to an already impressive offense.
