A notable college football head coach has reportedly been fired this afternoon.
Terry Bowden, the son of former Florida State head coach Bobby Bowden, has reportedly been fired by Akron.
The 62-year-old head coach had been the school’s head coach since 2012.
Bowden previously coached at Samford, Auburn and North Alabama.
