Nathan Peterman’s struggles as starting QB of the Buffalo Bills remains the butt of jokes in the NFL. And those jokes won’t be dying down any time soon.
Amazingly, he has yet to throw for even 100 yards in an NFL game despite three prior starts and seven games played. He also has a 3:9 TD:INT ratio, and his 12.5 percent INT rate this year is among the worst in the league.
Things aren’t looking much better for Peterman in today’s game against the Chicago Bears.
Peterman had some absolutely atrocious numbers at the half: Two INTs, a pick-six, 75 passing yards, no TDs, and trailing 28-0.

On the plus side for Peterman, it looks like he might finally be able to break the 100-yard passing mark if he plays as “well” as he did in the first half.
Peterman went into the 2018 season as the Bills’ starter, but was quickly benched for rookie QB Josh Allen for poor play.
However, injuries to Allen forced Peterman back into the starting role. He then struggled again.
The Bills then signed QB Derek Anderson off the street and promptly started him a week after signing him, only for Anderson to suffer an injury too.
Things have been so frustrating in Buffalo this year that it caused a player to retire at halftime.
