A 38-year-old Bridgeport man was killed early Sunday morning on April 5, 2020 after he was ejected from his mini-van on an I-95 exit ramp. According to State Police, Mynor Garcia-Pelaez’s vehicle collided with a concrete barrier on the Exit 27A ramp to northbound Route 8/25.

I-95 driver killed after being ejected from vehicle, falls 30 feet

BRIDGEPORT - A 38-year-old Bridgeport man was killed early Sunday morning after he ejected from his mini-van on an I-95 exit ramp.
According to State Police, Mynor Garcia-Pelaez’s vehicle collided with a concrete barrier on the Exit 27A ramp to northbound Route 8/25.
The head-on impact with the barrier caused Garcia-Pelaez to be ejected out of vehicle and onto Frontage Road about 30 feet below the ramp.
Garcia-Pelaez was pronounced dead at the scene.
The mini-van, a 2002 Chrysler Country EX, is registered to Mynor Home Improvementm of Bridgeport.
The accident remains under investigation.
