The One Direction singer made the startling comment during an Instagram conversation with Sam Smith.
Sam initially took to Insta to post a snap of him chowing down on a large In-Out burger during a trip to Pacific Park in California.
Commenting on the post, Cheryl wrote: "The best burger there is!" before added two sad emojis.

"In the world," the Too Good At Goodbyes singer replied as well as a love-heart eyed emoji.
Joining into the conversation, Liam bizarrely added: "I think I would probably give you [Cheryl] away fro one of those right now..
"S***. Did i just type that out loud."
However, Cheryl didn't see the funny side.
The Girls Aloud signer ignored Liam – despite him sending three more messages.
"Good Job I pressed the reply button as well @CherylOffical," he added.
Liam continued to Sam: "Bring one home in your suitcase... in fact no, next time take me in your suitcase."
"Next time I see you with one of those I'm going to rob you in public."

The public comments are even more bizarre due to the fact that Liam and Cheryl been dogged by split rumours for weeks.
Bear Payne's parents are said to be strained as Liam is constantly trekking the world to make his solo career a success.
Follower their very public show of unity at the 2018 BRIT Awards, Cheryl lashed out on Twitter after people accused them of faking their romance.
"Oh stop. No one cares who’s been speculatively arguing or not in their relationships,: she fumed.
