Garrett Cooper’s 10th-inning homer gave the Marlins their first road win since July 24 Tuesday night. Sandy Alcantara fired seven innings of four-run ball to put the Fish in position to win late.

September has arrived, which means rosters expanded on the first of the month.

Updated Marlins roster with Miguel Rojas, José Ureña and Tayron Guerrero all activated 28 total active players. 40-man roster filled up (for now). Blue is LHP/LHB, Red is switch-hitter, below the line is injured list

The Fish made a flurry of other moves a couple days later as well.
