The world record for the tallest teen was formerly held by Broc Brown who stands at 7ft 8ins. After Brown turned 20, the recognition has now gone to Brandon Marshall of Britain, a 16-year-old who is 7ft 4in already while still growing.
In the last year, Brandon added 5in and medics have said his final height is yet to be determined. Brandon’s father stands at 6ft 10in and his mom is 5ft 11in. The teenager has a 30-year-old brother, Zak, who is 6ft 4ins tall and a 25-year-old sister, Zoe, who measures 5ft 6ins.
According to his mom, Lynne Quelch, 49, it is always a challenge walking down with him down the road because people would often stop him wanting to take photos. She revealed that the teenager struggles with doors and roofs and almost every other thing that normal people use in their daily lives.
Popularly known as ‘Tiny’ by friends, Brandon said he was a normal child until he hit 9 years of age. Since then, his height has been shooting up with each passing year. He has been picked for the Welsh national basketball team which has served as a way for him to fulfill his dream in sports.
