Down With the Queen A week ago, Britain celebrated its Queen as she enjoyed her Golden Jubilee of 60 years on the throne. You can celebrate Americas Queen of Soul and her 50 plus decades on the throne of American soul music by coming out to see Aretha Franklin in concert this summer. The 70-year-old Franklin recently lost weight and looks great, and was just recently awarded an honorary Doctorate of Music from Princeton University, her twelfth such honor overall.
