Frank Gore passes Curtis Martin, moves into fourth on NFL career rushing list Dolphins running back Frank Gore moved into fourth on the NFLs all-time rushing list, passing Curtis Martin on an 8-yard run late in the third quarter of Sundays game against the Jets. Gore, 35, appears on the same Hall of Fame path as Martin, who rushed for 14,101 yards in a 12-season career, ironically nine of them with the Jets. Gore told reporters this week that passing Martin would be big but instead focused on the game at hand, which the Dolphins won, 20-12, to move to 2-0. Barry Sanders is next on the all-time rushing list at 15,269. Gore has rushed for more than 1,000 yards in nine of his 12 NFL seasons entering 2018, 10 with the 49ers and three with the Colts.
