WASHINGTON - Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel and Co-Chair Bob Paduchik released the following message in honor of Cinco de Mayo:
“Today we remember the courage displayed at the Battle of Puebla and celebrate the proud history of Mexican-Americans," said Chairwoman McDaniel. "We honor their contributions that have made the fabric of America more vibrant and dynamic with their deep commitment to faith, family, and the belief that hard work will help you achieve the American Dream. I’m honored to work alongside many distinguished Mexican-Americans in our Party, and I thank them for their continued leadership and dedication to representing Americans across our country. Remember, Cinco de Mayo is a day not only of celebration, but also a day to remember the extraordinary achievements and rich heritage of Mexican-Americans who have enriched our Party, our communities, and our economy.”
