American creator Kate Shade committed suicide on Tuesday, the world's media reported.
The fifty-five-year-old artist was found by her maid in a flat at Park Avenue in Manhattan, Reuters reported.
She left a farewell letter, but the police did not publish the content and did not intend to continue to deal with the content.
"People" only states that it is a message of a personal nature for her husband and a thirteen-year-old daughter, who is impotent after her mother's loss. Indications indicate that the deceased Spade wanted to explain the reasons for her decision, and according to the New York Times, her husband was even in the house when the tagedia was played.
"We loved Kate and we will miss her so much" the family said in a statement asking for privacy in this delicate situation.
Kate was born on December 24, 1962 in the United States, and was known for designing bags, jewelry and women's clothes. She is known for the brand "Kate Spade New York", as well as "Frances Valentine", and in 1994 she married Annie Speyd.
They withdrew from business in 2006, after selling the company. The creator then dedicated her family and philanthropy, and last year she founded the new fashion brand "Frances Valentine" named after her daughter.
