Sadistic Psychos Torture Disabled Duo, Wheelchair Hero Flipped The Script

A Las Vegas woman on her death-bed, living with her severely disabled brother alone, was ambushed by a couple of sadistic killers who forced extensive torture on the two. The deranged monsters reached down deep into the darkest depths of assault tactics that left one person dead and the other dragging themselves down the street for help.

Jennifer Mustachia, 33, met the now 57-year-old woman, who she would later come back to haunt, while both were receiving medical care at a Nevada hospital in 2013. The victim, Barbara Owens, had first been diagnosed with terminal Lou Gehrig’s disease, and she and Mustachia had developed a friendship during hardship.

After both women were released from the hospital, Mustachia started coming around Owens’ home that she shared with her 47-year-old handicapped brother, Edward Turner. It didn’t take long for Owens to realize her “friend’s” intentions were not kind, when she began stealing from the siblings and begging for pills. Owens asked her to leave and never come back, which didn’t sit well with maniacal Mustachia, and she began plotting a vengeful attack on the two with the help of an equally psychotic friend.

At approximately 10 p.m. on March 23, Mustachia exacted her plot to torture the siblings. With help of her heinous henchman, 29-year-old Jamie Zuniga, she broke into Owens’ home. Zuniga took on the brother, and Mustachia handled Owens herself. The ousted pal whacked the wheelchair-bound woman upside the head with a baseball bat, while Zuniga straddled the frail brother and beat him to a bloody pulp with a crowbar, among other weapons, the Las Vegas Review Journal reported. But then things were about to get really weird.

As Zuniga had his depraved way with the Turner, Mustahia took pride in the assault and shouted to Owens, “Come out here and see these guys kill your brother!” The male assailant’s hands were covered in his victim’s blood, which Zuniga licked off with cannibalistic glory, saying, “I love doing this s–t,” as he left the home with his victim on the floor to die.

But Mustachia wasn’t finished. She had worked up an appetite in the course of the sick assault, so she cooked a hamburger in her victim’s home and helped herself to some cookies. Meanwhile, Turner was practically dead in the other room, and Owens was holding on for dear life. The food and the declining adrenaline rush soon made Mustachia sleepy, so she found a bed in the house and prepared to turn in for the night, but not before slashing the tires and cutting the chords to Owens’ chair so she couldn’t get away and call for help. She also threatened her former friend that if she told on her, she would cook her dead brother and feed him to her.

But Owens outsmarted her tormentor and didn’t let a badly damaged wheelchair hold her back from getting help. She managed to slip out of the house and down to a convenience store to call authorities, all while the sicko slept and Owens’ brother died in the other room.

When police arrived, Turner had been dead for too long to revive him. Mustachia was fast asleep, but she awoke to cold metal cuffs being placed around her wrists. She and Zuniga were charged with a laundry list of serious offences, including murder and kidnapping. Although in the final days of her disease, Owens testified against the two last week.

At some point, humanity plunged into a place that people should never go. This female assailant and her henchman have absolutely no place in society, and hopefully they are smacked by the judge as hard as they hit this handicapped man and his sister with a tire iron.
