When one of our trusted freelancers, Jeff Huneycutt, let us know he had some photos in the archives that haven’t seen the light in a while, we wanted to see them. Although 2003 doesn’t seem that long ago, it’s incredible how much things in the sport can change.
This throwback gallery comes from two tracks: Florence Motor Speedway in Timmonsville, SC and Lancaster (SC) Super Speedway. Both of these tracks are still in operation to this date. The photos from the 4/10-mile asphalt Florence feature Mini-Stocks and V8 Stocks. From Lancaster we have shots of Late Models and Stock Cars.
