beautiful and mystic flower is how I see the lotus. This Asian flower stole my heart some years ago and I’ve been obsessed with it since then. I consider it one of my favorites even when I haven’t seen one in person.
This week I had my first experience with watercolor pencils (a luxury in Venezuela) and yesterday I decided to draw a lotus with watercolor pencils. This is my little experiment with them.
First, I look up on the internet a model for my drawing so I could sketch my flower, using an H pencil.
With a 2B pencil, I contoured my flower.
Then the fun part started, I add the color all over my drawing.
I added the water using a thin brush.
