Nighttime is ghost time
I have always wondered, why do ghosts make their appearance mostly at night?
Is it because it provides the perfect stage for them to do their haunting and what not? Or is it just because they seem less ghostly at night?

It doesn't help that most real life ghosts make appearances on staircases, like this one above for example.
