Now BTRC decides to keep the Internet unauthorized

Dhaka, Feb 12 (UNB) - One day after mobile phone operators instructed to reduce Internet speed, Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) on Monday instructed them that the internet service should be kept undisturbed.

The president of the Internet Service Providers Association of Bangladesh (ASPAB) MA Hakim on Monday confirmed the matter.

According to Sunday's order, operators slowed down the internet for about ten minutes on Monday morning. Later, following the new directive, the speed became normal.

Earlier, on Sunday, the BTRC instructed the mobile operator to stop internet speed limit from 8am to 10.30 pm on 12 February to 24 February and from 12am to 2.30 pm on 18th February. Writing paper during the ongoing School Certificate (SSC) examination.
