I can’t tolerate people who act in a horrible way towards their pets. Leaving them behind and abandoning doesn’t count as a human act for me.
There are other solutions to save your dog when you are not able to take care of it, rather than ditching it and turning your back on it. Some of these alternatives are contacting your local humane society or ASPCA branch.
Even if it is ignorance, malice or guilt, there are some people who abandon their pets in awful conditions and there are other people who don’t act to save stranded animals when seeing them in whatever place.
Fortunately, there is a story we liked to share its happy ending with you hoping it will highlight this important issue in our society that only these beautiful creatures are paying for its price.
babyinatrenchcoat, a Reddit user, has recently uploaded a series of pictures about rescuing and adopting Kingsley. Once they saw him, he was brutally tied to a tree and they didn’t think he has a chance for surviving. With love and resolution, they saved him and made him go through an incredible transformation. Watch the story below.
Kingsley was found in a terrible situation with hair so badly matted that it caused him pain. He was starving and clearly had been beaten.
After rescuers shaved off his fur, they noticed many scars covering his body. Some were old, but other scars were very fresh.
This is one of the photos made by the Reddit user , he fall in love with Kingsley. However, the poor dog is still fearful and afraid of men. It needs a lot of love and attention to get him back in his healthy state.
We’re happy to know that Kingsley has finally been able to find his new forever home where he is not only taken care of — he is spoiled.
He still needs time to adjust to his new life but he surely proved this sign slowly and surely. He had never been potty-trained, and he still had problems with possessiveness and barking. And he hadn’t been taught to play with toys.
He is regaining his health week by week. He enjoys playing fetch, going for car rides, and cuddling — and he has a particular attachment for dryer sheets!
He has now reached his normal weight, and he is getting more and more used to his interactions with other people.
“He’s come such a long way, and it’s been a battle sometimes. But when he’s snuggled in my lap and gently gives my hand or face a kiss, I know how grateful he is and how it’s all worth it.”
