Chocolate Biscuit Cake Recipe is a simple, yummy and mouth-watering treat for all. There is no need for baking the cake. So, every one love no-bake desserts because some people may not have oven and some don’t like to use oven.
This can be prepared very easily in home to celebrate any special occasions like birthday, wedding day or Valentine’s Day. Even you can involve your kids while making this cake.
Ingredients for 10 Servings:
25-28 Digestive biscuits
1 cup of toasted and lightly chopped Walnuts and Hazelnuts
For Chocolate Syrup:
1 cup of Sugar
½ cup of unsweetened Cocoa powder
2/3 cup of Butter
1 tsp of Vanilla extract
1 cup of Water
For Chocolate Ganache:
½ cup of Whipping Cream which is of 35% fat
120 grams of chopped Bittersweet Chocolate
Preparation Method:
Break all the biscuits into small pieces and put them in a bowl.
Toast the walnuts and hazelnuts for 5 minutes and add them to the biscuit pieces.
Now you have to prepare the chocolate syrup. Add sugar and cocoa powder along with water in a pan. Mix them all together.
Then add butter to the mixture and heat the pan in a medium flame for 8 minutes by stirring the mixture continuously.
Remove the pan from the heat and add vanilla extract and then set aside to cool for about 15 minutes.
Now just pour the chocolate syrup over the biscuit pieces and nuts. Combine and mix them well evenly using a spoon.
Transfer the mixture to the non-stick round cake ware or a pan bottom lined with parchment paper. Press the mixture evenly using a spoon in the pan.
Just cover the pan and refrigerate for 30 minutes and in this time, you can prepare chocolate ganache.
Heat the cream in a small pan and pour it over the chopped chocolate. Stir well so that it will get smooth consistency.
Pour the ganache over the refrigerated chocolate biscuit cake and then again refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight before serving.
Finally decorate the cake using toasted nuts and now the yummy cake is ready to taste.
