In 1994, the music world lost one of its brightest stars. Kurt Cobain, the frontman of the popular grunge rock band Nirvana, was found dead, seemingly having taken his own life with a shotgun.
The case caused a lot of controversy at the time, with many people suggesting that Cobain had actually been killed, and even nowadays, many still believe that there is more to the case than meets the eye!

5 – The gun
Reports state that the gun which Cobain is said to have used to kill himself had no fingerprints on it. Kurt had no reason to wear gloves to commit suicide and wasn’t found wearing any at the time, suggesting that someone else held the weapon or that it was cleaned afterwards. The body of Kurt was found with the gun in his hand, meaning that fingerprints should have been spotted on the trigger.
4 – Heroin
Cobain was found with heroin in his system. Medical experts have argued that the amount of heroin Kurt had taken would have made it impossible for him to shoot himself. In fact, it is argued that the drugs are actually what caused the singer’s death.
3 – The note
Kurt famously left a suicide note, which is quite a long and well-written piece of text, talking about his growing disinterest in music. Strangely, the note doesn’t talk about ending his life until the very end, when the writing style and tone suddenly begins to drastically change. Experts say that it looks like someone else wrote the last few lines of the note.
2 – El Duce
El Duce was another musician who said in an interview that Cobain’s wife, Courtney Love, had offered him cash to kill her husband. Courtney Love has always been suspected as being responsible for the death of Kurt, but no legal action has ever been taken against her. Still, countless conspiracy theories and strange pieces of evidence suggest her involvement. To make matters even more shocking, El Duce was also found dead in strange circumstances after accusing Love.
1 – Tom Grant
Tom Grant is an investigator hired by Courtney Love to look into the death of Kurt. Shockingly, Grant ultimately said that Love was the one responsible for the singer’s death and continues to accuse her to this day.
