The Danielle Brooks x Fashion to Figure collaboration is here, and we’re excited! The Emmy-nominated actress can successfully add model, advocate and brand ambassador to her list of accomplishments. As a woman who proudly flaunts her curves, Brooks takes great pride in looking and feeling good. “It’s not always easy finding clothes that represent who you are and how you feel when you’re in the double digit sizes, but with my partnership with FTF, I plan to erase that issue and give hope to a lot of women and young girls,” she said.

Brooks took the need for representation a step further by having an all plus-size crew work on the campaign. Because she rarely saw women who wore double-digits working with her, she wanted to bring their work and talents to the forefront. There is a huge need for inclusion and people like Brooks create a space for it to happen.
The Fashion to Figure collection is 100% sexy, on-trend and full of flavor. Animal prints, suedes, mesh, off-the-shoulders, you name it, they have it. You can plan your entire day with the clothes from this campaign. Head to work in a crisp, white blouse and striped slacks. Trade in your pants for an off-the-shoulder dress and end your night in a fitted animal print dress.

Brooks taught me what body positivity looks like. I’ll never forget scrolling through Instagram and landing on her Lane Bryant ad. I thought to myself, look at this beautiful, black woman standing confidently in all of her curves. Watching her, I began to appreciate my thicker shape. We need more women to use their platform to help reinforce self-love and body positivity. These campaigns allow real women to see themselves in media and fashion. You can shop the new collection now on FashiontoFigure.com. What do you think? Are you a fan of this collaboration?
