Most people in Roseanne’s situation, would disappear into the night, never to be heard from again. But nah. Instead, she’s still doing interviews, speaking about the racist tweet. Last week, we reported that Roseanne said that she thought Jarrett was White—and that’s why she felt it acceptable to call her an ape.
Recently, Jarrett appeared on “The View,” where the ladies decided to ask her about Roseanne’s most recent comments. This is how Valerie responded.

Joy: How did you feel about this?
Valerie Jarrett: Roseanne who?… In all seriousness, as I’ve said before, I’m fine. I am just fine. Now, if one of you said something like that about me, that might hurt my feelings but this is not what keeps me up at night. What keeps me up at night is those families being separated at the borders, or children who go to school worrying about whether or not they’re going to be safe and the parents who drop them off. I mean, these are the things that keep me up at night. Not a racist tweet or a profane videos…no, not so much.
Later, when Sunny told Jarrett that Roseanne would be sitting down with Sean Hannity, Jarrett chuckled.
When Sunny asked Valerie what she hopes Roseanne says, Jarrett said, “Less is more. As I said, there are just so many issues that are more important. I won’t be watching. I hope you all won’t be watching either.”
Same.
