Magic Valley

TWIN FALLS — Idaho educators who help high school students pursue higher education will meet this month for six student readiness symposiums, the Idaho Department of Education announced Friday.

The events will bring high school counselors and school administrators together to share strategies for supporting students.

Educators meet May 30 in Twin Falls. Parents are welcome to attend a parent night from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in room 276 at the College of Southern Idaho’s Taylor Building.

The events will include a focus on state advanced opportunity programs, such as Fast Forward. It allows every public school student to have $4,125 to use toward advanced opportunities from seventh through 12th grades.
