On Wednesday the 18th of April, one girl decided to take away her life in the most unexpected way - jumping through the window.
Arguments between parents and their children are common place in many households. This is especially heightened when children hit the teenage years. Teen comes with quite some psychological and physical changes, which, if not mustered, may cause real havoc in the family at large.
One such family is still struggling to come to terms with the unfortunate death of their daughter. It all started when the girl asked her parents for permission to attend a friend’s birthday party. According to reliable sources, the parents denied the daughter this chance to go and celebrate her friend’s birthday.
As expected, this did not go well with the girl. It’s true she must have been upset, but she took the matter just a bit too far. After the bitter argument with her parents, she locked herself in protest in her bedroom.
Not knowing what the girl was up to, the parents tried to force the bedroom door open. Meanwhile, the girl was determined to the extreme. She removed the screen from her window and blindly jumped through the window. This was from the 15th floor of the apartment. The parents were almost succeeding in opening the bedroom door, but it was too late. The little girl landed on Sixth Avenue on top of some scaffolding and died on the spot.
Sources have it that this was not the first time the girl was getting into trouble. In the recent past, she had been caught shoplifting at one Barnes and Noble. Earlier in the week, the tutor had also given a poor report of her during a parent-teacher conference.
