Pet Store In Hot Soup After Three Dead Dogs Found In Their Freezer

 Matrix

Taking home a new puppy can be the best feeling in the world, but knowing where you’re getting those puppies from is important. That’s not what this store owner cared about, when he came under fire from the New Jersey Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

People noticed that the puppies that they had been purchasing from Just Pups, a pet store in East Brunswick, were becoming sick very quickly and died. The cases were reported to the NJSCPA and an investigation revealed the owner’s horrible practices.

He was charged with 267 counts of animal cruelty, and they even found three dead puppies in a freezer.

The owner failed to quarantine sick puppies from healthy ones, and failed to provide them with any veterinary care in order to cull the infections. The store has been temporarily closed pending investigation, but the owner also has other pet stores throughout the city, so it’s likely there will be more charges in the future. Share away, people.
