Following the victory of Donald Trump in Tuesday’s election, the incoming 45th President of the United States is said to be facing a new challenge: the possible end of his marriage with Melania Trump. The First Lady in waiting has allegedly filed for divorce against the president-elect over the weekend.
If this report holds water, what could have been the former Slovakian model’s reasons for doing so? Or is it simply because she is not prepared to assume the post of First Lady of the United States?
There are speculations that the US president’s better half is highly concerned with the role she will be playing once her husband assumes the presidency. In fact, sources close to the couple disclosed that the first foreign born first lady said she “didn’t sign up for this.”
Another possible reason, the source bared, that Melania Trump has reportedly decided to divorce Donald Trump is that she doesn’t want to be the center of attention due to her immigration status, accent and the various allegations of infidelity against her husband. In short, she wants to be left alone.
Moreover, the fashion icon allegedly doesn’t want to leave behind the luxurious lifestyle she has been accustomed to since she got married to the business mogul-turned-politician. Moreover, the source of Now 8 News added, she reportedly finds the décor and furniture at the White House “despicable” and “beyond repair.”
In a desperate attempt to save his failing marriage and stave off the divorce filed by Melania Trump, Donald Trump has allegedly declared that he only wants to live in the While House “part time.” Despite this offer, America’s new first lady still doesn’t find it acceptable to live in the president’s official residence.
However, a leading gossip-debunking website has flushed this news down the drain and labelled Now 8 News as a fake website, which pretends to be the online arm of a local television network. According to Snopes, Now 8 News is only concerned with generating traffic to its website through click-bait and is not at all concerned with delivering factual news reports.
Melania Trump and Donald Trump therefore are expected to be the White House’s main occupants for the next four to eight years.
