Every art form is really difficult to master. It takes years and years to perfect and master one’s skills, and it takes a lot of dedication and effort. This is true especially in music. Every instrument is hard to master, including the drums. Drumming requires a great sense of rhythm and timing. Practice is essential in perfecting such drumming. The men in the following video show how it’s really done.
You might have seen a lot of synchronized routines on the internet before, but this one right here is totally off the charts! This performance was executed by a group called Top Secret Drum Corps. It is a precision drum team based in Basel, Switzerland. It is made up of 25 drummers and color-guard members, and each one is simply gifted in drumming! They shot to fame with their elaborate six-minute routine which was performed at the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo back in 2003. With this invitation to Edinburgh, the corps also became one of the first non-military, non-British Commonwealth acts to perform on the Esplanade at Edinburgh Castle. Now that is an honor indeed. This routine too is definitely going to make your jaw drop. They’ve even incorporated fire sticks into the performance!You can only imagine the hours of effort they had to put into this amazing routine! Hats off to these fine gentlemen!
