HOLLY Willoughby whacked Phillip Schofield over the head with a microphone on tonight’s Dancing On Ice.
The presenters were using the mics throughout the show for the first time and it seems Holly got a little over excited.

Chatting about Jake Quickenden’s upcoming routine, which saw him pretend to tie the knot, Holly gushed about how much she loved a wedding.
Phillip tried to point out to her it wasn’t real when she hit him over the head with her mic telling him: “Don’t ruin it!”
But it seems Holly doesn’t know her own strength as Phillip looked rather taken aback as his bonce took a pounding.
Holly squealed: “That was a bit harder than I thought it was going to be!”

The pair were using mics throughout the show following complaints last week about sound quality.
Fans of the show have hit out at the audience for drowning out hosts Holly and Phillip by cheering too loudly, meaning they couldn’t hear what the telly presenting duo were saying.
They flocked to social media to rage about the issue, which resulted in them using mics for the end of last weeks’ show.
Speaking about the change after tonight's episode, Phillip wrote on Twitter: "The wind was so noisy we thought we’d lose the roof! Stick mics hid it better than the personal mics we usually use"
