LITTLE NIPPER Shock as newborn baby delivered with fully-formed TOOTH in bottom jaw...

NEW DAILY

THIS baby boy is a right little nipper - after being born with a fully-formed tooth.

Cruise Horsburgh’s single pearly-white left mum Shannon MacAllister, 17, stunned following his birth on January 27 at Newcastle’s Royal Victoria Infirmary.

His gran Tania Armstrong, 36, explained: “The midwife said, 'Look, it’s a tooth'. It was fully formed. She had only ever seen one like it before.

“It was just dead weird.

“We’ve had so many people come to see him and everyone is quite surprised by the tooth, no one has ever seen that before.”

Cases of babies being born with teeth are incredibly rare with studies saying it occurs in 1 in every 6,000 births.

Cruise’s birth is also noteworthy for another reason - he’s now the fifth generation of his family alive.

He joins great-great grandma May MacAllister, 73, and Tania’s parents Kim and Ton, who are in their 50s.

Tania added: “It’s been lovely having a new baby. Shannon loves being a mum, she can’t imagine life without him already, it’s weird to think he hasn’t always been here.

“Cruise is absolutely adorable, we all love him.”
