CALIFON – The Califon Historical Society’s Spring Open House is set for 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 7, at Califon train station museum on the corner of Academy St. and Railroad Road.
The Open House, which opens the museum’s spring season, will feature a new display of Califon artifacts plus two walking tours of Califon’s Historic District leaving the train station at noon and 2 p.m.
The society will offer reprints of “The Califon Story” for purchase as part of the opening day celebration. The book, written by Helen Haggerty Geist, includes information and stories about Califon’s early history and what life in town was like.
