Business Analyst job with SRG

Job Title: Business Analyst

Contract: 6 months

Location: Cambridge

Rate: £550/ day depending on experience

SRG are working with a leading pharmaceutical company who are now seeking business analysts help them understand their current process, system and data landscape for R&D early science, to make recommendations on approaches and technologies on how to organise that so it's fit for future of their ground-breaking science.

There are 3 core areas we are looking for Busines Analysts for

Electronic Lab Notebooks - Understanding the AS-IS systems and process landscape (R&D has ~5 different eLNs, from its legacy components)

Scientific Computing/High Performance computing - supporting chemists, protein engineers and molecular engineers create a huge innovative array of therapies to align with the R&D model. We need to: Understand the AS-IS early drug landscape and the systems and process surrounding these, Understand the new needs of biologists as consumers of these, Make recommendations on how our legacy CMS and registration systems can be updated or replaced to solve this problem

Making and Using drugs - supporting the scientist across R&D to use a growing scientific compute platform (SCP) and some legacy HPC platforms. We need to understand: What scientific processes and data are used on our HPCs and identify any gap with current SCP service, How the SCP service needs to be enhanced to support these scientific activities, Clarify what transition and migration looks like.
