Global Studies Leader- Contract- Oncology
A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Global Studies Leader to join a Top 10 Pharmaceutical company in their office in Hertfordshire.
The company are looking for a professional who can lead multiple cross-functional Study Management Teams (SMTs) and be accountable for efficient delivery of clinical studies through all phases (I- IV) in accordance with the appropriate quality standards including ICG GCP.
As a Global Studies Leader you will:
*Build and maintain effective, high performing SMTs by ensuring clarity of roles, responsibilities and deliverables
*Ensure the team receive the applicable training, including therapeutic area training and protocol training
*Responsible for study-level decision making and risk identification
*Establishes and maintains accurate study level timeline
*Leads development of protocol
*Provide input to develop and finalise core study documents
*Oversee the development and active management of the study patient recruitment strategies
*Finalise study budget and be accountable for the budget
*Oversee the safety of reporting activities
*In partnership with the business manager and contributes to budget negotiations
*Accountable for vendor performance
An ideal Global Studies Leader will have:
*Substantial global studies management experience
*Oncology experience
*Cross functional leadership skills
*Experience within Oncology
*Experience project manager- developing and implementing risk management plans
*Creating and managing complex study budgets
*Experience of all aspects of clinical studies- vendor/CRO management
*Knowledge of the drug development process and the pharmaceutical industry
