Medical Device Test Technician
Cambridge
Temporary - to - permanent
£11-11.50 per hour (permanent equivalent circa £22k per annum)
Working for a small but expanding developer of mechanical medical devices for global markets.
Role requirements:
- Testing of medical devices to ensure consistency, functionality and aesthetically representative results
- Recording of test data and preparing draft reports
- Maintenance of all test facilities, trouble-shooting any functionality issues and equipment
- Working within a small team in an environmentally controlled facility to carry out design verification testing, the results of which are used to gain regulatory approval
Your background:
- Keen to learn and apply all aspects of medical device testing
- A scientific or engineering qualification may be advantageous, though not essential
- Previous background from within a medical device testing role would be preferable
- Excellent communication and team-ethos is essential
- Good document management skills and record-keeping skills
