We currently have a position open for a Director, Medical Affairs - Pathologist at our site in Geneva, Switzerland. The ideal candidate will be a Board Certified Clinical Pathologist with a broad focus of expertise. Knowledge of CAP/CLIA inspection process is a plus.Primary Responsibilities
- Supporting global pharmaceutical clinical trials through pathology tissue reviewClinical consultation for the laboratory component of pharmaceutical trialsAssuring regulatory compliance
Education/Qualifications:
- MD degree, Clinical Pathologist
- Board certification in medical pathology
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of related experience. CRO experience highly desired
- Experience in a Clinical Anatomic Pathology Lab
- Proven experience in Immunohistochemistry (IHC) In-Situ Hybridization (ISH) interpretation
- Effective communication skills with technical staff, business development staff, peers and clients
- Fluent in French and strong command of English
- Hospital / Large referral laboratory experience preferred, pharmaceutical trial experience a plus
- Computer literate
