They are a well-funded start-up company recently spun-out from the University of Cambridge. Investigating the pharmacological potential of the recently discovered class of proteins. They have making rapid strides in establishing formulations, stability and delivery of proteins through nanoparticles encapsulated in DNA/RNA.
To thrive in this role you with:
- Support the manufacture, testing and validation of these new therapeutic agents.
- Work with external contractors to effective complete projects.
- Use your knowledge of market trends and the ever changing landscape to shape business strategy.
- Navigate the regulatory environment to guide the company through preclinical and clinical explorations.
- Develop and maintain SOPs.
There is scope to tailor this role to meet the skills and experience of the successful applicant to ensure a challenging and rewarding role. There are significant opportunities for development and progression as the company works towards commercial launch.
Requirements:
- Significant prior knowledge of Nanoparticles, formulations, stability testing and targeted protein delivery.
- Hands on experience laboratory and commercial experience in this field.
- Strong IT, writing and interpersonal skills are essential to ensure accurate documentation of activities and effective communication.
- Capable of performing well as an individual and working within a team with the initiative, flexibility, drive and enthusiasm to achieve goals and exceed expectations in a dynamic start-up environment.
